I'm a landlord who was fleeced by Fowler, much the same way their tenants are.
I paid Fowler Property Management's other company, Sherrelwood Services to clean, fix, repair and tune every single item in the condo. They charged me for it but never did anything. Fowler Property Management covered it up and lied about it. My guess is that they were going to keep the safety deposit money from the tenants to finally perform these duties.
The toilet and refrigerator flooded the day the tenants moved in. I paid for new floors and a new carpet, which were damaged. The furnace suffered wear and tear because although I paid for it to be tuned, they didn't even change the filter.
I collected reduced rent for a 14 month period and nothing for the first two and a half months. They caused me a collective damage of about $7,500 - meanwhile they were pocketing my rent. I fired them when I was told I have no proceeds because they have to replace the floors (the ones I paid for).
I need you to write more and more of your experiences here - as I think this is a public concern. I'm also taking them to court.
I've filed a complaint with Dora and the BBB.
