Recently, I bought a new home with a garage door installed by this company. It was poorly installed to begin with. The door would catch on a notch left in the rails along the side where the two pieces had not been aligned correctly. While the door was closing one day, using the automatic opener, it caught this spot, jammed and the door opener actually pushed the door out of the railings, causing the entire left side of the door to fall. This bent the hell out of the door. When they came to repair it, they sent one guy and he was out there for only a few minutes. The door worked, but on closer inspection later, many of the running wheels and brackets were cockeyed now. Even closer inspection revealed that the armature from the opener to the door attachment was not correctly aligned. This caused a horrible screeching while closing the door and sometimes, it would hang up and not close at all. Naturally, it still being under warranty, I called them, explained what happened last time and that it may need readjusted this time, they said they would have someone there in two days. Two days came and went before I called back because no one showed up. They said two more days. When the guy finally came out and inspected the door, he told me to reduce or increase the power of the automatic opener and WD-40 the hinges. He then asked me for my own WD-40, even though he had some in his truck. He ignored the cockeyed brackets that I showed him, as well as the misaligned armature. He sprayed the hinges and since it closed (although making a horrible grinding) he left. Finally, myself and a partner took the armature apart ourselves and realigned it. We took the brackets off and realigned them, but in doing so found that in order to make their parts fit, had drilled their own holes instead of aligning everything in the first place to fit the pre-drilled holes from the factory. Not a thing lined up correctly on those brackets and we ended up having to screw parts together differently (correctly) so they would align. Now the door works fine and at this time, is still under warranty. (although if they knew I did the repairs they would stiff me) Bottom line is that the tech were not helpful, they were slow to respond to a problem and they ignored everything I told them. It was the most frustrating and poor customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Pitiful. Pros: ? Cons: Poor service, unhelpful staff, unreliable timing
