Review content:
This is one of the few restaurants in LA that has spent the time and energy on d?cor, environment and experience. Each room has its own distinctive feel and a design that is only found in some of the best restaurants in New York and Las Vegas. The main dining room is surrounded by candles with a vaulted glass ceiling that makes the room feel much bigger while also minimizing noise. The back of the restaurant has banquettes which provide for a more intimate dinner for smaller groups.
Some restaurants have a couple noted dishes but each item on East?s menu is unique and truly extraordinary. The sashimi is some of the freshest and tender of even the highest end sushi restaurants in Los Angeles at a fraction of the price. The menu has a diverse mix of dishes for all palates and tastes. Whether you are a meat, fish, chicken or sushi eater there is something for everyone. There is also an extensive wine and sake list that the staff helps to pair with the meal and help compliment and bring out many of the subtle tastes in each dish. It is definitely worth going and soon to be a new staple in Hollywood.
