Whenever I am in Wine Country this is a MUST. I have been for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just dessert & drinks. The service is always friendly & warm. The food is always creative & fresh. I had the short rib. It was the HUGEST rib I have ever had, cooked so tenderly it just sweat moisture! The horseradish creme frache was mild & added just the right amoung to accent flavours. We asked for a veggie substitute(i dont particularly like glazed carrots, i will admit they are good though)& received braised broccoli which was superb. The pureed potatoes had me wishing for multiple servings of it. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well. He recomeneded the s'mores dessert that had us never wanting the messy camping style again. The ganache was rich, dark, chocolatey guilt & well worth it!! (Side point..... I have been here when the large fig tree in the courtyard bares its fruit & have had the FINEST fig desserts!!! ) I have tried other restaurants in the area & find myself always longing to find what new favorites I will find on their menu! Ed K.....I LOVE YOU! Pros: Downtown Sonoma, Outdoor dining
