I recently read about this place from one of the local magazines, & reading about it is nothing compared to actually being there. Just walking through the front garden puts anyone in a sensual mood, especially if at night with all the candles twinkling & the fireplace burning. The layout is gorgeous; the scent of one of their signature candles fills the rooms, & it's hard not to reach out & touch the silky fabrics on display. I will admit prices are outrageous, but you get what you pay for. Everything is wrapped exquisitely, whether for yourself or someone else. If you can't reach the store in LA or NY, the website has a good selection of their merchandise, but you must experience it in person. I have trouble returning; I usually end up leaving with something, even if it's only a votive candle. Treat yourself!
Pros: Design of shop, comfort, aesthetically pleasing to all senses
Cons: Parking can be difficult, but you're good for the most part
