Review content:
My boyfriend and myself dined at Avalon Restaurant this past Saturday ad had a wonderful experience. We were first greeted by the host who asked if we would like to be seated in their more romantic second floor dining room. The room was small, quiet and lined everywhere with candles (very cool). Our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. We shared an Antipasti plate of black olives, roast peppers, artichokes, calamari salad and Italian tuna. Everything was very good. calamari salad had little too much onion for me. For our entrees we had grilled salmon with cous cous and meatloaf with mac and cheese. The salmon was very good and cooked a perfectly as the server suggested med rare. The mac and cheese with the meatloaf was awesome. We shared a liquid center chocolate cake, very good but could use a little ice cream. I highly suggest a visit to Avalon. We have now made it our date night.
Pros: BYOB, Romantic, Great Service
Cons: More ice cream on dessert
