Review content:
I had taken my computer to A Plus in 2008 having a great experience. When my computer was infected with a virus, I took my computer to them again. This time the experience was absolutely HORRIBLE. The manager, Mike, was especially unprofessional, customer unfriendly, and demeaning. One person quoted a price to remove the virus but charged more and NEVER contacted me first. I did not authorize cleaning or any additional charge They damaged the case of the computer in two places. They never called me to update progress and were rude when I tried to call and find out progress. They make you sign a work order to release the computer but unbeknownst to me, the only receipt you receive is a copy of a $ charge receipt on a white piece of paper. When I called to request the copy of the work order or a detailed copy of the work that was performed, they told me that it is not their policy. I have never dealt with a company that does not give a receipt for the work performed and the type of computer etc. Since I was unable to get any satisfaction with the company, I have taken this matter ( damage, the overcharge and lack of receipt with the detailed list of the work performed ) with the Consumer Protection Divison of the Attorney General's Office. The computer is not working right- an error message comes on each time I turn on the computer. Beware!
