Review content:
I contracted with A Lamp Concrete Contractors, Inc. (A Lamp) to replace the top portion of my concrete driveway on 5/10/06. 50% was paid up front and 50% was to be paid upon completion of the driveway. I asked the A Lamp representative what kind of guarantee was offered on the work and he said that if there are any significant problems due to their work that they would fix it. The driveway was completed in early August 2006 and the final payment was made at that time. Approximately six months later, I noticed that the driveway had developed a large crack/break that ran the complete length of the slab. Said crack/break is not in the stress joints, but in the center of the slab. I believe that this is unacceptable workmanship for the slab to develop such a large crack/break so soon after completion. I attempted to contact A Lamp regarding this problem via telephone in early March 2007. However, I was unable to reach anyone that would assist me. On March 25, I sent a letter to A Lamp via USPS certified mail outlining my issue and respectfully requesting assistance. Once again, A Lamp never responded. I sent a second letter via USPS certified mail on April 17, 2007 which again outlined my issue and respectfully requested assistance. To date, A Lamp has not responded to any of my attempts to contact them regarding this problem. Based on this experience, I do not recommend A Lamp Concrete Contractors, Inc.
