Review content:
I have a 3 year-old, very high energy retriever-mix dog. We've tried several different kennels and were rarely satisfied with the quality of care for the money we paid. Orchard Lake Pet Resort seems different - when our dog comes home from staying there for several days she acts like herself. In the past she's always either slept for days (which suggested to us that she wasn't sleeping well at the kennel) or else she's been super high strung and energetic (suggesting she wasn't properly exercised while there). But when she comes home from Orchard Lake, she acts the same as if she just spent the weekend at a friend's house. The staff are very friendly, and the rates, though a little on the high side, seem proportional to the quality of care received. We feel confident that our dog is in good hands when she's there.
Pros: Good service, Caters to the individual needs of each dog
Cons: Holiday boarding is more expensive, has a minimum stay, and requires payment in full when reservation is made.
