3D Envirotech, a company owned by Luis Rivera and located off Ricardo in Fort Myers has ripped me off. They started a job they promised would take only 2 days in December and have still not completed it. They were to restore Terrazzo floors in my family room. However, they look worse than when they started. They filled holes with the wrong color epoxy and terrazzo chips, ruined all the wood work with their sanders, and managed to stain the floor with a so-called stain remover. The epoxy smelled so bad we had to shut off that wing of the house for the entire month and open the windows. The dust of the epoxy also covered everything. They assured me it was safe to breath, but it is actually toxic. They only answer phone calls from me from unrecognizable numbers. I have reached them 4 times in the past month, and they made empty promises to return on 4 different occasions. Today, when they didn't arrive at 8:30am as promised, the owner Luis, told me they were right around the corner and would be there immediately. It is now 6pm and I have come to the conclusion they are never coming back, but instead have taken off with my $288 deposit and a very expensive job to have fixed. I know $288 doesn't sound like a lot, but after being inconvenienced for a month, lied to, and the health repercussions, I feel this is not so much about money anymore. I wish I had researched the company better because I also found a similar complaint on Yelp: These people are rip offs and scam artists. They claimed to have equipment to do the tile work I needed and that was a lie. They charged me $700 to do the job and also said they would come back if needed at no charge. When I called back for the redo, they refused to take my calls. I ended up going to their office and we set up the redo. They did not show up or call. I could have done the same or better job with my steam mop. Do NOT use these people....its a rip off!!!
