I know that when we are sick or injured we expect the Dr.s & Nurses to be right there on the spot, with all the answers.......The truth is that they get bloodwork , Xrays, etc..... Then they have to wait until they get results back & this does take some time..... Meanwhile we Or our loved ones can only wait to see what's next......So please think of the day that they may have had & the Rude Patients that they get in the E.R.......In 2008 I went into the E.R. with shortness of breath & a tight feeling in my chest.....After Xrays, ekg & bloodwork they found nothing going on, But because of my family history of heart disease the Dr. decided to admit me. Dr. Babbitt did a heart cath the next day & found out I have a terminal disease called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, If I had not gotten the right care at Mercy Fairfield I wouldn't be here now to share my story.....I really think most of the employee's go above & beyond their job.....And I also Want to Say THANK YOU to APRIL , who works in the stress lab !!!!! If you need a Heart Hospital, Mercy Fairfield is the place to be!
