Review content:
Dr. Marrero has twice kept me from losing a tooth by making careful assessments instead of easy assumptions. The first time, he took a closer look at an x-ray of a failed root canal (done by another dentist years earlier) and thought there was a possibility of saving the tooth. Thanks to him and Dr. Christina Vy I was able to keep the tooth. The second time that particular tooth was hurting, he didn?t assume that the pain was due to the root canal itself; he looked carefully at the x-ray, addressed the real problem (thinking outside the box, because it wasn?t something that showed up on the x-ray), and after a five-minute procedure, the pain is gone. I?m very grateful that he didn?t draw the most obvious conclusion either time. Not only do I still have the tooth, I kept a lot of money in my pocket (not just because I didn't have to have a bridge or implant but because his fees are very reasonable, which is important to someone like me without dental insurance).
His staff is as nice and friendly as he is. I've always felt welcome there, and never felt rushed; my questions have always been fully answered. A friend who?d also had a very positive experience with Dr. Marrero told me about him, and I?m so glad she did!
Pros: no cookie-cutter treatment
