Review content:
I took my wife?s car to McBrides (214 E. 2nd St Dover, OH) because I was told that they were the best at figuring out strange electrical problems. I dropped the car off on a Sunday night to get the traction control fixed and anti-lock brake system fixed. I told them specifically what the issue was and asked them to take a look. After having kept the car 10 days they charged me $180.95 for a wheel speed sensor, $33.00 for the installation of that sensor and $45.95 for scanning the cars computer to find the problem, a grand total of $259.90. When the car was returned the traction control and anti-lock brakes were not fixed and the car is still unsafe to drive. I asked the good people at McBrides what they planned to do and they said since they could not get their money back for the sensor that I was expected to pay for it anyway. It is very sad that they would treat anyone that way let alone a Combat Veteran of Afghanistan. Beware they will take your money and if they can?t fix your problem they will charge you hundreds of dollars anyway.
