My gosh, where do we begin. . About 6 months ago we bought a puppy and then my wife got food posioning at an Asian food restaurant and that very same day we bought the puppy I had to take my wife to the hospital. I returned the puppy that day right as they were closing and they were very understanding. A couple of months later we decided to go ahead and get a puppy....that did not work out either....because all the puppies are happy being there at the Heidelberg farm but once you get home and a new environment for the puppy ....well, lets just say the puppy did not like being away from all his brothers and sisters. Ok, so we took that one back and decided to wait on a new litter that was out in a few months. Well, lets just say that WE LOVE BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, first night we realized that he was not going to put up with a kennel..ok, so went out and bought a futon, spent the night downstairs. Second day we started teaching him to sit and WOW!!! he learned realy fast. Ok, long story short.....Bear sleeps upstairs anywhere he wants and has never made a mess PERIOD! We do take him out a lot before bed time but WOW! He is already barking at strange sounds on the other side of the fence. OH yes, my 5 yr old daughter and Bear are best friends too!!!! They walk everywhere together. He seems to always be standing gaurd right by her side....he is only 14 weeks old :) .you guys have the smartest/most loyal puppies/dogs we have ever seen. Incredible tempermant!!!
