Review content:
China villa is the kind of place you'd drive past if you didn't know any better. It's a little ways past the jones road exit, hidden behind the valero in a small strip center. At dinner time, at least, there are only a couple of cars parked outside and no one eating inside the restaurant. Most people seem to get their food delivered or pick it up. My fiance & my family decided to eat in for dinner this weekend & we were the only ones there. However, the delivery guy came and went 3 times, taking 3 orders with him each time. So don't let the empty restaurant fool you into thinking this is a bad place. This is my favorite chinese restaurant in houston. It's as good as - and maybe even better - than PF Chang's. I've never had a bad meal here, it is consistently good. Their wonton soup is the best that I've had and I can say the same about their fried rice. The sweet & sour chicken was cooked perfectly - light brown coating and very moist. The eggrolls are pretty good, and my fiance enjoys their spicy chicken and shrimp. My mom also enjoyed the chicken chow mein. The owners are very nice and friendly, and you can usually find their children playing there in the evenings. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: food, service, value, location, everything!
Cons: nothing
