Businiess name:  Fat Hen

Review content:
The older reviews are for (I think) John's Island Cafe. The Fat Hen is not open for breakfast. This is Fred Neuville's relatively newly opened restaurant on Maybank Highway (John's Islant) and it is worth the drive from Charleston. Neuville was formerly cooking for 39 Rue de Jean and has simply moved some items straight from there to the Fat Hen's menu. The mussels are reliably good. The last time I was there had a special of a crispy, panko-coated soft shell crab that was exceptional. You can still eat on the porch. Go, see, taste for yourself.
