I am a previous owner of a John Deere dealership. I took a tractor to them Greenville Turf and Tractor for repair the electronics and a full service. It is over an hour drive one way, so I went back to get tractor after a call that it was done. When I got there and paid ($761.74) they could not get the tractor started. Mechanic said he had taken the fuel filter off, did not have one, so he cleaned it best he could and put back on tractor to move it. Turned out that the fuel pump had suddenly quit working, so they ordered one and said they would call when it was ready. Went back to pick up tractor, paid for pump ( which had trash in it, from being run with old filter $165.30 total of $927.04 total now) loaded tractor and saw that NONE of the grease fittings had been greased. Had to wait an hour while mechanic greased tractor on my trailer, after it had been there for 2 weeks, and he could not get grease in 4 fittings so they were never greased. Called manager/owner Brad, would not do anything to reimburse me for the lost time or expenses, just said he would ""take care of me next time I needed a service"". Will not be back and would not recommend to anyone. We all make mistakes, it is how we handle them that shows what kind of person we are.
