Review content:
Tonight my family and I visited a French Restaurant Called Mimis Caf?. Mimis is located at 11275 W Broad Street in Glen Allen, Virginia, in West Broad Village, (The west end of Richmond in Henrico County near Short Pump).
The main parking lot is a bit small for the seating capacity of the place, but there is ample parking in the free parking deck across the street. When we arrived the parking lot was full and I had to park in the parking deck. Upon walking in, the place was packed, a good sign the food is good. We waited only about seven minutes and they seated our party of five. From this point on any difficulty stopped. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is homey, plenty of noise from people talking and enjoying themselves, but not so loud as to be distracting. The seating was comfortable. The Service we received was top notch. Our Waiter Naushad was a very pleasant young man, who knew the menu well and his attention to us was impeccable. While he did have several other customers, he was still able to attend to our every wish.
The meal was amazing. Our party had a wide variety selections and the worst we had was excellent. The French Onion soup was the best I have had in Richmond. The Bar-B-Queue Ribs, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Flat Iron Stake, Top Sirloin, and the Brie Chix Dijon were done to perfection. The salads and the steamed vegetable side dishes were very good. There is a wide selection of Beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike. Form Fruit Smoothies to Strawberry Ice Tea, or Hot Coffee to various Coffee Smoothies (similar to Starbucks Frappuccino), and Bar drinks to the Soda of your choice. It was all very good.
The surprise for me came when the bill arrived. We had a Five Star meal for less than $25.00 each, which included the tax, and a 20% tip.
If you are looking for Five Star taste and service at a very reasonable price with a homey atmosphere, then head on over to Mimis, you won?t be disappointed
