Frying Pan on the West Side rocks! I went there for an event recently and was wowed by the amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. It's a great place for a date, or just to hang out and have a drink with friends. Some of the drinks were a bit overpriced, and it's a pain to get to (all the way on the West Side Highway and 26th) but it's definitely one of my top 5 spots for summer.
Pros: Something different, city views, unpretentious/laid back crowd; location
