WHAT A DIFFERENCE MANAGEMENT MAKES! Thank you. We moved into Rivers Edge RV because of the proximity to the Truckee River. We have lived in 4 other parks and never considered the management as a plus or minus. However, when we moved here last April the then management disappointed us. Their militant clique was unpleasant. WE NOW HAVE A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM. We still have the Truckee, clean Laundry, and restroom facilities but the ambience is totally different. The New Team is always welcoming, courteous, and interested in any resident comment, which may make an improvement. Where I have always been just a rent payer, I now find myself wanting to be involved because we now have a community. This is a great little community to live in on the river and a great place to visit for the same reasons. A last thought would be scenic and serene on the beautiful, historic Truckee River in Sparks-Reno, Nevada.
Pros: Truckee River access, Rock Park convenience, bus line, clean Laundry & Restroom facilities, hot coffee in the mornings.
Cons: Yes, being near the airport you have to expect airport stuff, but it fades into the background almost immediately. It's NOT like the airport was kept a secret..
