Review content:
Please do not rent from this man named Charles McCorkle (or Charles Everett or Charles Edward-""I'll explain this at the end). I read the reviews about this place and still allowed this man to con me into thinking they were lies. Regretfully, I rented this place. He ruined my 40th bday party. One review stated how he had 2-3 events going on and had them all on the same dance floor. I'll be darned if he didn't at the last minute do the same thing to me. The people for the event in the Casino Room had to travel through my room to get to their room. If there was a door in the back for them to use, they weren't aware of it. He told me that his place had an ""in-house"" D.J. but failed to say that the D.J. was him. He never really ""D.J.'d and just played C.D's and never once got on a mic to say Happy Bday or anything else. To add insult to injury, I confronted him up front about the reviews in relation to his drink prices which had them as high as $14. He promised me the drinks were no more than $7.75, but my guests paid close to $10 for drinks including beer. I took him to court but unfortunately, I got a judge who felt that since I had my party, I shouldn't complain. This man raised his hand and swore before God to tell the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and told one bold-faced lie after another. I wasn't as fortunate as the other young lady who sued him in Dekalb County and won or the woman who won against him on Judge Hatchett. Don't book from this man. If he'll lie in a court of law before God, he can't be trusted. And if you fail to listen to these reviews as I did, then please, please get EVERYTHING in writing including exactly what room you have, how many and what dance floors, the D.J. services and who will provide them, the drink prices so he can't change them later, and more importantly make him put it in writing that no other party will share your room or dance space, etc. Lastly, beware if you try to take him to court. Since so many people have been suing him and winning, he now has a registered agent named Charles Everett or Charles Edward who can only be served for court cases. As he states, there are three ""Charles"" who work at Gallery Bistro. This is a smoke screen. Try to find a Charles Everett or a Charles Edward at Gallery Bistro and let me know if you do. Charles McCorkle, Charles Everett, and Charles Edward are all one in the same. Now if that's not shady and a red flag, what is?
Pros: Room was nice
Cons: Owner is a con artist
