Review content:
We live nearby and used to visit the Cherry Tree a few times each month. The service has never been good, even on a slow night. Forget about getting a second drink during dinner as the wait staff will come take your order, drop off the food and then you have to request your check. But we liked the Blueberry Ale, steak tips and chicken sandwiches so we used to put up with the poor service.
On my last visit I charged dinner on my Amex. You can imagine my surprise when I got my monthly bill and the wait staff had clearly added $10 to their tip.
I reported them to Amex, the Newton Police and will not be returning. Do not give your credit card to the wait staff!
