After searching online for a new stylist I decided to try G Michael based on ALL the positive but similar reviews. So here is my honest opinion on this salon.
First impression, parking was horrible, non existent. I entered the office building which was extremely wierd and beyond confusing on where the salon was located. After winding my way through the maze I finally found the small and distasteful decor of the salon not welcoming at all.
The staff was cordial, but after a long day at work I was tired and just wanted a great cut, color and highlights as they advertise they do extremely well. After 3 long hours I was beyond ready to go home, couldn't see the results due to dim lighting then sticker shock hit, over $200!
The next morning I woke to what was the worst color I've ever had, my husband thought it was too wild and I cried as I tired to style it. I got the nerve to call the salon and ask them to kindly fix my color and even out the cut( I was red zebra striped, looked very rock star & I'm a teacher).
They said, ""you will have to pay for the color again and we can't get you in until January,"" my appointment was over 3 weeks ago. I immediately called other salons based on more realistic reviews and got in with a great stylist who fixed my crazy color.
I really didn't want to write this review, but the truth about my visit needs to be shared....you've been warned!
