Review content:
I'm *appalled* by the treatment I have received at J Sahadi Jewelers. I've been a customer three times and I have had shockingly bad customer service. The first time, as a new customer, I was on the phone and we were discussing our repair options and costs. From my perspective, this was a pleasant conversation about what the best choice was. The woman put down the phone but not down enough apparently, because I heard her say,""the customer is quibbling about price."" When she came back, I simply said, ""I could hear you,"" and she was embarrassed. I received an apology from another woman at the store the following day so I decided to let it slide. My second experience was fine. The third and last was when I brought in a piece to be repaired. They had it for two weeks and couldn't figure out best to repair it. They gave me a price (very high and it included drilling a hole into my bracelet...yikes!) and I called the next day to arrange to pick it up. They seemed surprised that I wanted it back and said, ""Oh no, you weren't supposed to hear that quote. Um, we'll call you back."" I waited another week and then called to let them know I was leaving town in 4 days and needed the item back for the trip. The day of the trip they called to let me know it wasn't in yet and may not make it back to their shop due to traffic. I was disappointed and told them it was very important to me that I have it for my trip and if they could see what they would do. They said they would try and would call me later. A few hours went by, I was busy with work and family, and I had at that point assumed I wouldn't have it for the trip. Then, at 6:30 in the evening, I got a call from the owner. Here's what he said: ""We've been waiting for your for two hours. Come get your bracelet. You may never shop here again."" Huh, what?! It seems that they had left me messages that I hadn't retrieved, and suddenly I was fired as a client? I raced over there to pick it up and, with my two little girls standing next to me, I was spoken to in the most horrific manner EVER by anyone. I had simply not checked my voice mail and was treated with complete disrespect, no, worse. The owner was at the front telling me to go away for ever and the woman behind the counter was barking obscenities at me. ""That man was mean, Mama,"" my 6 year old said when we got back in the car. Yes, honey, yes, he was. Pros: Good location Cons: Everything else
