Review content:
I ordered new carpet and tile for my entire house (1800 sf) from this company. They subcontract the labor and I give their installers an A++++ (Thanks, Mr. Rodriguez!!!). BUT, Cut Rate Carpet tacks on various hidden charges including adding square feet that don't exist. Overall, it was still a good deal, so I agreed to the charges. However, when I called them the day after my carpet/ tile install because the carpet in front of my door was preventing the door from opening and closing freely and it was clear I needed them to create a tile entry way, they attempted to charge a $100 ""minimum labor charge"" on top of the labor I would already be paying, not to mention the labor (and extra charges!!!) I already paid for tiling/ carpeting my entire downstairs just one day earlier!!! They argued with me about the fairness of the charge and refused to do anything to accomodate me. I DO NOT recommend them. I will be using Bottom Dollar Carpet in Freeport to tile my entry way.
Pros: Overall good value
Cons: Horrible customer service, know exactly what you want and be prepared to do the legwork yourself
