Media Upholstery Company has restored a number of old family furniture pieces for us as well as some newer ones. They've rebuilt them from the inside out, touched up the woodwork, and recovered them to look better than new. The owner is knowledgable about furniture styles and came to our house to help us decide whether some pieces were worth redoing or not. They've provided fabric samples in a wide range of price points and helped us choose ones that were appropriate. They gave us written estimates of the work to be done and that's what we were charged when our final payments were due at delivery. Their prices are comparable to other ""quality"" upholsterers, not inexpensive, but worth it when the job is done right and family heirlooms can continue to be enjoyed for years to come.
