Review content:
I got to ""audition"" my tutor in a free trial lesson. The director of the company came and sat with us during the lesson and gave me a full description on how the program works afterward. There were no awkward encounters, I felt completely safe meeting with my teacher, and there are no surprises on the price or commitment.
So far, I've been meeting with my tutor for four months and haven't had any problems or complaints. We're working on preparing for the Japanese Proficiency Exam, level 1 (the hardest level).
I'm feeling pretty confident that I have a good chance of passing.
Pros: Affordable private lessons anywhere, any time in NYC
Cons: Easy rescheduling means I have less than perfect attendance
