Review content:
The Huron Athletic Club (or The Hac to locals) is a combination restaurant and bar with the clichéd sports theme throughout. With adequate seating in the front and plenty of pool tables in the back there seems to always be room. This review is referring to the restaurant side of the business only.
During lunch hours the place fills with business types; seeming to double as the local meeting ground for professionals. Plan a visit before noon or after 2 and you'll find you've got the place pretty much to yourself.
The sports theme I referred to is done now in so many restaurants and it is done better in most others. The place has quality atmosphere, but nothing special.
This restaurant serves one of my favorite meals, and my favorite burger all in one. I order the Caeser Burger without hesitation, every visit, with a side of the waffle cut fries. I've never once left unsatisfied.
The wait staff is efficient and friendly.
