I was house sitting in the area and figured I'd try this place. The atmosphere is nice - it's a unique layout.
The most noteworthy thing was the service. The bartenders were friendly.
This was a Thursday night, ""steak night,"" so I figured I'd try the skirt steak. I have to say, I wasn't terribly impressed. You can get a better steak at JR Steakhouse for about $4 less. This was a passable steak, but nothing to write home about. And the mashed potatoes and vegetables were bland - they didn't bother even attempting to season them.
I'd bet they make much better sandwiches than dinners. The sandwich menu was enticing - if it weren't steak night I might have had a better experience overall.
If you're in the area this is probably as good as you can do for the money. And from what I could tell, the crowd is friendly and the help is welcoming.
Pros: Helpful and friendly service
Cons: Sub-par skirt steak
