Review content:
Took my car because I was told I had transmission problems. I told them if I needed a new transmission I did not want it fixed. I was assured it would not and the repair would cost $750. Repair was done and I was told the transmission would be the last thing to go on my car.
Four months later every gear on my car was neutral. I was told it was probably an axle, but behold it needed a transmission overhaul. $1131 later I ask how much it would have cost if I did this originally and was told $1500. That would have included the work I had done initially that should have fixed it forever. Do the math and I paid almost $1900 for a $1500 job I would have never had done if I was given correct information from the experts.
Being from a sales/service background I asked if they would stand behind their work and charge me a total of $1500 rather than $1900. This is a sign of good will to a customer when you screw up. I was told that they were just doing what the owner told them to do. I stated I thought he was the owner, which he replied he wasn't. When I asked who the owner was he stated his father.
Nice to see a father and son team pass lousy workmanship and customer service through the generations. Oh...by the way, my car still isn't running right.
If you read this and take your car there anyway...you deserve what you get!!!
Pros: There are other shops to take your car
Cons: Money is their bottom line
