Well, ok then. I don't usually rail against businesses. But I don't know what to do here. Last year I had Cataract surgery on one eye. It cost me over $3,000. I started having problems with that eye a few weeks ago. Finally, I figured I'd better get it checked out. I couldn't get hold of the place. {found out they were closed the whole week of Labor Day weekend}. Hmmm.. Anyway, so I went and got an eye exam at someplace else. When I got back from vacation, I called them and could only leave a message. After a week, when they failed to get back to me, I called again. I explained the situation, and asked them quite confidently, 'And no charge, right'? No. They not only want me to pay again to get it fixed, but won't accept the eye exam I got at the other place. $80-$150 for the eye exam, and $566 for the operation. Doesn't it seem like they should have some kind of Guarantee? My god, I spent over $3,000 of My money. I'm sure I'm not the first one this has happened to! I just spent over a $1,000 on vacation. I can't afford another $600+. So I'm just gonna start railing and posting this in various places. And I'm going to write a letter to them.
