Review content:
Though a longtime customer, I will no longer use Gene Johnson Plumbing & Heating, short of an emergency. I have known Mr. Johnson for 42 years, and I recently had my first problem with them. I brought them out to repair a leaky faucet in my older home. They used too big of a wrench and squeezed it such that they were unable to get the top off, which ruined the faucet. They then tried to replace it with a new one that didn't fit.
When I called to complain, I stated my concerns and told them I wanted the faucet replaced correctly, at no expense. They agreed to the replacement, didn't agree with the cost issue. They came back out and installed a chrome monster that looked like the skull of a cat. They would't even tell me the make of the new faucet, in case I need it worked on in the future. The bill I received in the end was exorbitant for the low quality work I received. This may have been a one-time shoe, but I'm really displeased with their service.
