have been to this place a few times in the last 7 years it was ok but now just disappointing. .I am from the philly area so I have been exposed to many good delis over the years. Portland finally has something to offer Kenny and Zukes, Bunk , meat cheese bread all excellent.
My Italian sub was tasteless and just sad . Generic boars head meat is nothing to be proud of from a deli.
Salami and roast beef ? mayo and mustard ? Try olive oil and pickled peppers, ham, salami , prosciutto, pancetta would be right. A super thin slice of generic provolone. Come on people get it right for $9. My freind got a Reuben - soggy bread and tasteless meat. No credit card and an atm that charges - $2. The staff are pretty much kids. I don't see any pride in the ingredients or preparation.
Pros: Good bread
Cons: Lame version of an italian sub tastless, roast beef ?
