Businiess name:  Santa Cruz Parking Office

Review content:
I'm sure every review about this City Office is BAD so I'm just going to add to all the negative feedback. I work downtown Santa Cruz and because there are only about 20 parking spots near my job that you are allowed to park at for more than 3 hour I get a lot of tickets. I mostly work by myself and usually 8 or 9 hour shifts so it's hard to move my car every 3 hours. I end up having to close down the store for about 20 minutes while I search for an open parking spot within 3 blocks of my job. This is the most corrupt system! Little does the city know the employees who work downtown are why downtown gets any traffic. No employees no open businesses. I would love to get a parking permit but I've been on 3 different waiting lists for over 7 month in that time I have accumulated over $800.00 in parking tickets. I basically work to pay for my parking while I work. Makes NO sense! Why can't the city give every business downtown a few parking permits? I can could park in the structure on Soquel but then I would have to walk to my car in the dark late at night, which I rather not do sense there are more cops harassing young Black and Latino people than keeping hard working women safe from rapists. WHAT A CITY. Pros: There is ONE nice woman who works at the office window Cons: Every one of there ""meter people"" needs to visit Oz in hopes of getting a heat and brain.
