Review content:
I rarely write reviews, but after yesterday, I feel compelled to do so. We usually rent a limo for a nice evening out that our congregation provides for our Juniors and Seniors, and for the last year or two have used Lavish Limousines. According to the kids who went last year, the limo and the driver were awesome. I think ownership/management must have changed. This year, it was promised the driver would be at the church building 15 to 20 minutes prior to departure time (4:00 P.M.) for pictures. He called at 4:00 P.M. and said he was running late. When asked where he was, he told me F.M. 1187 and I.35, about a 30-minute drive from where we were. He got lost trying to find us, and finally showed up at the church building at 4:45. To try to make a long story short, it was a scary and uncomfortable ride. He passed everything on the freeway, missed the downtown exit in Fort Worth, drove all over downtown (once we finally got there) looking for the Reata restaurant, and when we drove past it we all yelled to just pull over and stop ? that we would walk back to the restaurant. The Cadillac Escalade limo was hot (he never could get the air conditioner working), and the drinking glasses provided were dirty. When we contacted Kimberly (the person who scheduled the limo service) the next day to ask what went wrong, she ranted on and on and wouldn?t let us get a word in. In fact, she wanted to charge us another $240 for pulling in to the Wal-Mart parking lot in Burleson to pick up 1 additional person. My recommendation is to find another service, or rent a van.
