Review content:
I was having some shoulder pain and wasnt sure where to go. A friend recommended that I go to Above. I have only been to a physical therapist once after wrist surgery and I never felt comfortable there and I always had pain when I went, meaning they would make me do things that made my wrist hurt worse than it did. However I had a very different experince at Above. They never asked me to do anything that intensified the pain. The PT asked me to describe where the pain was and what I was doing the day the pain showed up. While he was examining me he was asking me questions about what I had done that week and upon his questions I remembered something that explained my shoulder pain. Although he used very gentle and absolutely painless methods, I felt much better in the next few days. When he was treating me he was explaining what he was doing, and to be honest it sounded a little crazy, but it totally made sense, and I fell 100% better. I have never been so comfortable at a doctors office. The environment was warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend Above Physical Therapy for all of your pain needs, massages, and anything else. I have already referred a few friends there.
