Review content:
I had an emergency, and I called 6 plumbers. I got a quote over the phone from one plumber for $1,500, and then another plumber came out and quoted me $1,500, but then went down to $1,400 and drove off. Then the guy from Repipe Specialists came out and did an estimate.
He measured things, and filled out stuff on his clipboard, and then talked to me. He told me that they had a cancellation for the next day, so they would give me a break on the price and do it the next day. He quoted me $1,384. He said they would be done by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I signed the contract and put a down payment of 10%.
The next morning, which was Christmas Eve, they were out at 7:30 and done before noon. It was a simple job. There was a leak in the water line between the meter and the house. It turned out that the original supply line was made out of plastic, and it broke. I was losing water at a rate of 33 cubic feet per hour. It was a huge bill for the water.
Now there is not a problem. There is no leak or anything. The work included the inspection permit and any fees associated with that, so there was nothing extra I had to pay. I am really happy with them. The only thing that was not perfect was that the grass was not put back on perfectly, but considering it was wet and rainy, they did a great job.
