Review content:
Never had a Goodman product but now we do. Its is a heat pump 4 ton model 15 steer # GPH1549M41 roof unit. The workmanship and installation was excellent and it was installed by Cooling for Less located here in the Phoenix area 480 406-3430. They did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. They always had the time to answers any of my questions. No SPIN! We live in Scottsdale AZ and the week it was installed it received a work out with temps hitting 114-116 deg for the past 2 weeks. It is keeping our house at 73 deg with no problem. We never had a ramp up unit before and that took some time getting used to the sound of the compressor and fan ramping up. It?s just a little different. After a minute it purrs and is very quiet. The volume of air is the best I have ever felt living out her for 30+ yrs. So far so good. We will see what the future holds. I would like to see it in other colors other then forest green.
UPDATE Sept 16, 2011
Well we were not getting use to the ramp up compressor noise. We have had the roof top heat pump for about 3 weeks now. I called them and without hesitation they said they will take care of it. They were out in 3 days and installed a compressor blanket. The compressor blanket has reduced the start up noise by 50% plus. It is so quiet now. Instillation took 10 mins if that. Cooling for less is a great company and as I stated before I would recommend them to ANYONE! Very professional with great skills, Thank you Gerry and Frankie!
