Review content:
The owner of this business was the one I spoke with on the phone. He wasn't willing to commit to a price for a tune-up of my snowblower. I decided to have it serviced there anyway, and asked if it could be picked up and delivered, as the snowblower doesn't fit into my vehicle. He said yes, but there was no mention of a price or charge for pickup and delivery.
When I got my invoice, he had charged $40 extra, on top of the service/tune-up charges, for pickup and delivery. He traveled a total of 2.5 miles for pickup and delivery, so you can imagine it didn't take very long. I could have MAYBE understood $20 for pickup and delivery, but $40 is robbery for that short distance, and then he lied when questioned and said he told me about a transportation charge.
Unethical folks at this business. Stay clear.
