Hostess was so frazzled I find it hard to believe they let her run the door on a busy Monday night. The table we sat at for two was so close to the next that I think my booty grazed another guest?s plate when I was trying to take my seat. Server was great. I hope she makes money there because you can tell that with her poised attitude that she was far better than the other girls prancing around in minuscule skirts and backless shirts. I couldn't even find a thing on the menu that enticed me, which is strange because I frequently dine out, fine dine at that, love tasting new things and am quite adventurous when it comes to food, and I'm in the biz. I know what food and service are supposed to be like... and I must say food was terrible... starting first with the bread which was accompanied by a sun dried tomato dip which I found to absolutely horrible, so much so that I had to, inconspicuously, emit it into my napkin. I remember one of the appetizers which was a goat cheese and tomato something or other, in which I could have done a better job making it at home, the other app escapes me, totally forgettable. My entree was okay... I finally settled on the filet and it was cooked to temperature but nothing amazing in the least. My friend had the sea bass which hadn't an ounce of flavor. We had dessert, but cannot remember what it was other than the edible flowers that were brought with it. I think those were our favorite part. We also drank with dinner and at the end, the damage for two people to have a totally horrible meal was $350. I have not a problem in the least spending money on dining out... but this was such a waste. I'd choose Michy's, Michael's, Table 8 and even Prime 112 over this place any day. And to make matters worse, when we were trying to escape this place, I couldn't even get through to the exit because there were soo many people that we had to fight out way through, blocking any imaginable path to the exit. Take my word for it... NOT WORTH IT! Pros: The decor aesthetically pleasing and our server was good. Cons: Hostess, food, noise, crowd (totally cheesy), table, exit route... shall I continue?
