Review content:
My husband was above brilliant when it came to computers. Other people came to him for help and he was always able to fix the problem whether it be small and obvious or difficult and complex. The down side is that I never had to do anything with our computers other than use them. He kept them up-to-date and protected. After he died last September I have been able to sail along on what he already established. However computers and their programs evolve, must be maintained, replaced, or updated. The signs of infection were all too clear. I thought I was covered. I tried to update, but it just made things worse. Slowness and then inability to get to selected websites without another (definitely unwanted) website popping up instead. (So much for Cox cable protection). So I shut everything down and called Computer NERDZ!. They were able to send a tech the next day. Enter Derek, on time, calm, pleasant, and without making me feel like a stupid old woman. Efficiently and effectively getting to the core of the problem (infected computer due to relying on outdated programs) and clean it up. He brought the computer up to date from windows 6 to windows 8. Suggested several security programs letting me decide which to go with without pressuring me into any one of them. And when I explained the problems I was having trying to enter and then download family pictures to a disk was able to show me how to do it. Efficient, meticulous, respectful, and polite. I will definitely be calling Computer NERDZ! for any future problems and will be asking for preferred NERDZ! Derek. Thank you so much.
