Review content:
Just wanted to say this place is good. The decor isn't new and trendy, no eye-catching artwork, but the food is simply delicious. Perhaps it's the ambiance, but it feels like a true mom & pop store (yes, they sell Italian groceries too). The long line for lunch sealed the deal for me - regulars whom the staff knew by name, joked with, but most of all kept well-fed - and well mannered. Generous portions of meat, cheese, greens. Extensive menu, though it is not only overhead on the sign, but individual sandwiches are printed on separate sheets of paper - you will return several times to read them all and try some new, delectable dish. Meat sliced when you order your sandwich - very nice touch. True Ciabatta bread - hard (not hard tack), but firm enough to let you know it is homemade and not meant for the masses. Prices are reasonable (sandwiches range $6-10) and food is made to order. Worth a visit (or three). Ciao-
