Review content:
We were at the beach after 5 p.m. last Sunday and finally had the opportunity to try out Campeche Bay and was it ever worth the wait! We were seated immediately and received our chips and salsa within a minute. The red salsa is different than standard salsas, but very good. My favorite was the green salsa; it had a nice little kick to it and caused me to eat 'way more chips than normal. The chips were fresh, hot, thin and salty. It was a beer night or we'd have loved to try a margarita. Trying to keep it light, I ordered the ceviche and an a la carte chile relleno. The ceviche was delicious and plentiful and absolutely exceeded my expectations. The chile relleno was good, too, but my only complaint was that it was topped with too much salsa and cheese, slighty detracting from the taste of the pepper. Next time I'll just order it plain. My boyfriend ordered the ""Zapnin"", a chimichanga, and raved about it. Oh, I have to mention that the hostess, as cute as she was, was very sweet and not at all bitchy like many are, and our server Jamie was excellent in every way!
