Review content:
Schooner's is one of the last great original Panama City Beach restaurants. It's pretty unique, in that it not only has amazing food (don't miss the crab claws and housemade yeast rolls), but it has regular live entertainment and festivals. The grilled fish and burgers are fresh and prepared perfectly, and they boast an extensive beer and drink menu. You can eat outside or inside, but the whole place is open and airy, so you can come right off the beach and have lunch or dinner. Each evening, the Schooner's cannon ""blows"" as part of their tradition, bringing attention to the awesome sunset just outside. You will love the atmosphere and attidude of the place. Parking can be a challenge on weekends and during the busy season, but that just tells you that the locals know where to go, and the out-of-towners have gotten the word on Schooner's. Every time I've been here I've left with a full belly and in a good mood. I can't say enough good things about this place.
