I was very excited for my experience at Sanford's. With all that I read and heard I don't think that I could ever have given the food a fair shake. The menu was impressive and my dinner was good, but not to the level of one of the top restaurants in the U.S. But definitely one of the tops in the city. I could give a better evaluation of the ambience and service. The ambience is good for a small group of food lovers but was below acceptable for a date experience. The service was the best around though. Timing was on the spot. Approach was fitting for the atmosphere. Enjoy this restaurant with a small group of friends but don't think of it for a date.
