Review content:
*Do not take an Apple product to this company.* I was really hoping to give a great review for the service I received here, but I cannot. I brought an iPad 2 in for broken glass repair. Even with broken glass, the touchscreen was still working fine. Only the glass needed to be replaced. Turnaround was supposed to be one week. After 1 week, I had to call for an update and was told the replacement glass arrived broken. After 2 weeks, the new glass still hadn't arrived, after 3 weeks still no ETA on the new glass. And today, almost a full month later, I had to call again for an update only to be told the glass was replaced but the touch functionality no longer worked. When I picked it up, none of the buttons worked either. The iPad 2 was returned to me in a worse condition than I brought it in. I suspect the repair effort caused damage to the internals of the iPad 2. I should have trusted my gut and either done it myself, or tried to get a one time replacement from Apple. Now, the warranty is voided and I have no options left except cost of my own glass replacement to attempt to fix what this company apparently broke. Not to mention I could have sold the device with cracked glass for upwards of $450.. Now, I doubt I'll get $150 or 250 for it. That's a loss of over $350-$400 for choosing this company to ""repair"" my iPad 2's cracked glass. When I arrived to pick up the now completely defective unit, the company owner chose to argue with me about the condition of the device when I dropped it off. There was no apology for the problems introduced during the ""repair""; instead he argued with me and offloaded blame onto ME!? The owner gave me the ""work"" for free including the glass because of the conflict, not because he wished to keep his reputation as an ""honest"" computer service person. I really wish I would have trusted my gut on this one.. I'm terribly disappointed.
