I am writing this based on an experience i had last week when my car broke down on the way back from a party. Long story short, apparently my ""CV Joint"" came apart and my car slowed to a stop at about 12:30 in the morning.. I have very few friends who I feel comfortable calling at that time of the morning...I walked about three blocks to this hotel. Well, it was just that, a comfortable Inn and I guess a suite. I was a little worried because my cell phone was dead and I would be at the mercy of the hotel to decide how much I would pay for a place to rest for 6 or 7 hours.. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was cheap, the sheets were clean and my car was still by the side of the road when I returned the next day. Looking back, this hotel is probably typical for the price within driving distance to LAX.. it looked a lot better at night then when I left in the morning.. and I would not want to think what has happened on my sheets that I stripped before touching the bed.. I guess I am just happy everything worked out - and thankful that the hotel didn't charge a fortune to a person who didn't have the ability to book online!
