Both the Chinese and Japanese cuisines are excellent here, but I will mostly rave about the sushi bar where my favorite sushi chef works. Unlike most places in CT, the fish here is fresh and of good quality, and the [Japanese] sushi chef knows, respects, and loves what he does. If you ask him, he will be completely honest with you and tell you which days the fish is the freshest (generally, Tue. & Fri. afternoons). This chef slices the fish with care, and his dishes always come out as works of art (including the wasabi shaped as leaves or hearts). Every detail is perfect, down to the sushi rice being cooked just right. Definitely try the salads, esp. octopus(?) salad and seaweed salad, and enjoy the special rolls. Just a hint: the sushi chef always rememebers those with good taste. Enjoy this sushi bar experience while you can because the current sushi chef will be retiring in 2 years! (And he's the best yet.) If you are enjoying the Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend the Beijing Duck! Pros: sushi bar, all the food Cons: no atmosphere, not big on service
