Trust a former employee who does web design, administers a school district, and has close to 10 years in the computer industry...I have 0 to gain from this review.
I encourage you to go into ACI and see what they have to offer. Make sure you bring in a notebook to write on. Rather than going in there and being sold something you may not need go into the experience as an informed consumer. Look and listen to what they have to say. Write down the model of what you interested in. Then politely say you would like to do some homework first. Go home and look at google. Type in your model number and go to the shopping site (this is especially true if its a refurbished/ used computer) and see what they have it for. In many cases, the same machine can be bought for 100-300 dollars cheaper than at Action Computers. Many of these other retailers have hundreds of positive reviews. Next, look at the amount of money you were going to spend at ACI and then go to Best Buy, Walmart, Sears, etc...really any place that sells new computers and see what you can get for new there first. Many places offer service plans when you buy a machine and if it ever happens that you need to have a machine worked on there are places like the geek squad and Action Computers that fix machines. Basically there is no reason to spend more money for something you can get somewhere else cheaper. After all if it breaks down you'll still end up probably taking it to a place like them to get it fixed. There is no sense in paying more for the initial product.
