Entering at night made me feel like I was in on a secret. The atmosphere is quaint with the sounds of soft Bossa Nova music playing from the back room, the staff occasionally saying something to eachother in Portugese. This along with the aromas eminating from the kitchen really takes one to a far-away place in another hemisphere. Food was great ... best calamari I ever had! My wife, not one for seafood, even loved it. I was disappointed with the Feijoada Completa. It was basically their blackbean soup with a few pieces of sausage ... I was expecting better. My wife had a ginger chicken dish that was AWSOME, although it tasted more like Thai/Brazillian fusion cuisine ... still great though. The whole experience was so beautiful that it actually made my wife tear up (no kidding) ... maybe a couple of glasses of red wine helped ;-) Pros: Intimate, Calamari, Music Cons: , Neighbor "hood", Feijoada disappoints
